Free Mask Pattern !
We will be sending out free mask patterns via email. Please email us for the pattern.
We at SewFabulous Sewing School would like to reach out to you in this time of crisis. As the doctors and medical staff in our community are experiencing a shortage of medical masks and robes, the SewFabulous team has decided to volunteer to sew new cotton masks and robes to donate to our local hospitals.
We are looking for volunteers to support us in this vital mission. For those who are able to participate in the actual sewing of the items and have the fabric (tightly woven cotton) like broadcloth and ¼” elastic, we will email the patterns and directions. For those that don’t have the supplies, we are creating packets for you to pick up from our school.(Tuesday 3/24, 12-4 pm) We will organize a drop off at our school for completed items.(Friday 3/27, 12-4pm) We intend to deliver 75 or more items to hospitals each week, so we need as much support as possible to accomplish this goal.
For those unable to sew, we ask that you share the word of our mission to your friends and family. Anyone who can volunteer is welcome; we also will gladly accept monetary donations, scrap fabric, elastics, thread, etc. For questions or more information, please feel free to contact us by phone at 443.676.7465 or email us: sewfabuloussewing@gmail.com. We also will be working on constructing sewing hospital robes and shoe covers soon.
We appreciate your support as we do our part to overcome these trying times. We wish you and your families health and wellness.
Margaret Garland and the SewFabulous Team!
