I Feel Blessed!

Today, I went to a graduation. I was honored to be invited. Graduations are the next step to these young graduates journey. As the speaker spoke about the accomplishments that these students had done was astonishing. I watched the proud parents as their child walked down the aisle, as I was when my daughter walked. Each thinking about what their child"s next chapter would be.

For me, I just feel so Blessed to have been in a few of these ladies lives. To know that I was a part of their growth. I worked very hard to teach my students that whatever they set their mind to be , they can do it. One of my students will be going to Parsons, another to FIT, and I have one going to SCAD.

When I started this school, I never thought that it would help others grow into the life they dreamed to be in. Now, after 13 years, I see dreams come true. I see fashion designers materialize, I see entrepreneurs and so much more. All I can do is to Thank God for my journey! #iii
